Google Drawing in the Classroom
With the addition of the drawing feature in google docs, students can now create drawings for homework or classroom activities. The video below shows how to create a Google drawing with venn diagrams and word webs as two examples of classroom use. This is a great way to incorporate technology in the classroom if you are a google apps school.

March 7, 2012Believe it or not, I am a teacher at a google apps school and didn’t even notice that drawing was an option in docs! One question though, do you grade or assess your students’ drawings? Just wondering as it seems a little wasteful to print them all out and turn them in. I like google docs for the paper saving aspect!

March 7, 2012It is common that teachers don’t know all of the features of google docs, I see it at my school as well. To assess their drawings (or any other google doc for that matter) I use comments. I am actually writing a short article and shooting a video to help explain this. I will reply here again when I’m done!

And this one is just about how creating user friendly assignments: http://teachersusingtech.com/2012/03/save-paper-create-electronic-assignments-in-google-docs/
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
