⭐Create a Gingerbread Man⭐

Have seasonal fun while practicing fine motor (drag-and-drop) and writing skills!

Are you incorporating a Gingerbread theme in your classroom? Then here is a fun, virtual activity that your students will love! In this Google Slides activity, students will create their own gingerbread cookies. There are many fun choices of facial expressions, candies, and décor which add up to endless creative possibilities.

I intentionally included multiple copies of the decorating and writing slides, as students will want to create more than one! This activity will help students to develop mouse skills such as drag-and-drop, as well as offering opportunities to use the Undo button on the toolbar (mistakes will happen 😉). With older students, I will also introduce them to how to change the order of the pieces that overlap (right click > order > send to back or bring to front). This is a fun way to practice numerous valuable tech skills. Students young and old will enjoy getting to decorate their own gingerbread men!

Are you looking for more seasonal ideas? Then you might enjoy my ❄⛄winter themed activities such as Create Your Own Snow globe project, make a copy of it here, or my SNOW Much Fun Game Room, make a copy of it here. If you are looking to update your Google Classroom banners for the season, be sure to make a copy of the Fall & Winter themed GC banners that I have shared here. NEW themes of Google Classroom banners are coming soon! My Winter edition of Would You Rather? is a fun lesson starter to include with these winter themed activities, make a copy of it here.

I hope that this gingerbread activity adds some seasonal fun to your classroom! Make your own copy of Create Your Own Gingerbread Man⭐ here to use and enjoy:
