Create Your Own Gingerbread Cookie!⭐💖

Enjoy this fun seasonal activity with your students! Practice technology and writing skills while decorating virtual gingerbread cookies!

Looking for new options of incorporating a Gingerbread theme in your classroom? This is an updated version of a fun, virtual activity that I created and shared last year. Your students will love having the opportunity to decorate virtual gingerbread cookies! In this Google Slides activity, there are many fun choices of facial expressions, candies, and décor which add up to endless creative possibilities. I have also included a challenge for students to use the shape and line tools to create their own decorations. There are slides for a follow-up writing activity.

This seasonal activity will help students develop mouse skills such as drag-and-drop, as well as offering opportunities to use the Undo button on the toolbar (mistakes will happen 😉), resizing images, and exploring the shape and line tools. Older students can also be introduced to changing the order of the pieces that overlap (Right Click > Order > Send to Back or Bring to Front). This activity is a fun way to practice numerous valuable technology skills. Students young and old will enjoy getting to decorate their own gingerbread cookies!

As a special thanks to my ☕ Supporters and Members, I have created a large Holiday Thank You Bundle which includes a Gingerbread Game Room and virtual field trips on how gingerbread houses are made! If you have bought a coffee this year or choose to do so, make sure to Login to the page and make your copy from the Thank You post dated November 18th. ☕ Members, be on the lookout for even more Gingerbread Fun to come in December - NEW Member 'Extras' will be emailed to you soon!
