Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, students will enjoy these stories and virtual trip! 🪅🎉⭐🚍
Piñata Day is observed on April 18th and Cinco de Mayo is celebrated on May 5th. A piñata is a traditional Mexican decoration or toy filled with candy and other treats and typically made out of paper-mâché. While often associated with parties and special occasions, they can also be used as decorations in schools or homes. The name 'piñata' is believed to have come from the Italian word 'pignatta,' meaning a clay pot. The tradition of the piñata dates back to the 13th century in China, and was later brought to Italy and then Spain by Italian traveler Marco Polo. Learn more about piñatas and Cinco de Mayo from this virtual field trip and online stories.

*NOTE: If the link says you need to request access, it is your school network blocking the share. All items are set correctly to force a copy when clicked on. Many districts block things (including file shares) that are coming from outside of their domain. Please try making the copy from a personal email or Gmail account. Then, you can share the file with your school account. If you request access, I won't be able to grant it or respond to your email request, since the issue is blocked on your end.
